Get ready for an unforgettable summer adventure! Each week, we offer two unique outdoor camps in different San Diego locations, where small groups of young explorers (ages 4.5-11) learn and discover alongside our expert mentors.

Use dirt to create masterpieces, collect leaves to craft giant collages, and tap into all the senses to fully appreciate the natural world around you.
Animal Biology
Explore the fascinating world of animals and critters through hands-on activities; learn about the vital roles animals play in nature while fostering respect for all creatures.
Survival Skills
Become a wilderness explorer as you learn essential survival skills, from animal tracking and shelter building to map reading and knot tying.

Learn proper ocean safety through fun games like aquarium building, scavenger hunting and natural boat building.

Learn sustainable growing practices while discovering the incredible journey from garden to table by planting seeds and harvesting veggies.

Creepy crawlers are everywhere—but did you know they play a huge role in nature? Through fun games, mazes, and hands-on exploration, campers will step into the world of bugs, spiders, and tiny critters to discover why they’re so important to our planet!
Magic of the Outdoors

Step outside and discover the hidden wonders of nature! Roll down grassy hills, splash in creeks, search for critters, and uncover fairy homes in the forest. Through hands-on exploration, Coastal Kiddos will show you the magic of the outdoors—you just have to know where to look!
Tide Pooling and Beach Exploration

Explore the hidden world of tide pools and uncover the incredible creatures that call them home—like tiny ocean dinosaurs! Through hands-on activities like scavenger hunts, natural boat building, and fun ocean safety games, campers will discover the magic of the tides while learning how to protect our coastal ecosystems. Birding

Ever wonder what birds are saying or how they travel without a map? In this camp, you’ll become a bird detective, spotting local birds by their colors, calls, and flight patterns. Through fun games and hands-on activities, you'll uncover the secret lives of our feathered friends—so keep your eyes on the sky!
Plant Medicine

Discover the healing power of nature! Learn how plants can be used as medicine, from making essential oils and herbal teas to crafting natural dyes and soothing remedies. Through hands-on exploration, campers will unlock ancient plant wisdom and become true outdoor explorers!
Crafting with Nature

Get creative using nature’s own art supplies! From painting with dirt to building collages with leaves and feathers, campers will craft unique masterpieces while exploring the textures, colors, and beauty of the outdoors. Each project fosters a deeper connection to nature—and a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home! Materials Fee: $15.
Interconnectedness of Food
July 14-18 | Aug 4-8
Monday - Friday | 12 - 5pm
Discover where your food comes from and how it connects to nature! Through hands-on activities like making ice cream, fermenting, solar baking, and pickling, kids will explore the wild world of food while learning fun outdoor cooking skills. Materials Fee: $15.
